Gibbs didn’t just pivot careers—he evolved a lifelong mission.
Gibbs didn’t just pivot careers—he evolved a lifelong mission. Raised in a faith-centered, musical household in North Carolina, Gibbs learned early that culture isn’t just something you consume—it’s something you live. He became a skilled musician before he could legally drive, playing keys for churches, training choirs, and hosting group vocal training workshops, eventually founding Friends In Fellowship (F.I.F.), a community-based choir and nonprofit that built bridges between faith, art, and purpose, especially for youth. That early work laid the foundation for a career defined by connection—between people, ideas, and communities.
Gibbs spent over 3 decades in public health and clinical research, collaborating on research ideas, managing global clinical trials, leading teams, and advocating for health equity. He was a trusted voice in the field—delivering lectures, shaping policy, and mentoring professionals across disciplines. But even then, his work was never just about data—it was about people.
Before becoming the host of iTravel For Culture, as a small business owner, investor, and coach, Gibbs helped entrepreneurs turn passion into purpose. Through his business, The Concenergy Group, Gibbs co-founded and undergirded multiple visionaries with the drive and ambition to start or advance their own business — each collaboration being a reflection of his belief that culture is built by ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
So Gibbs traded his suit for a t-shirt and backpack and began documenting the world through a different lens. iTravel For Culture was born—not as a content channel, but as a cultural movement. With a small crew and a gritty, urban tone reminiscent of Anthony Bourdain, Gibbs now travels the globe capturing stories of real people in real places.
Gibbs isn’t a traditional digital creator. He’s a professional roamer. An experientialist. A conceptualist. An intermediary. A culture enthusiast. His brand is built on lived experience, professional rigor, and a relentless curiosity about the world. And through iTravel For Culture, he invites others to join him—not just to watch, but to feel, learn, and connect.

Biyearly, Gibbs hosts the CONCENRGY Worldwide Invitational, a global, yet intimate, invitation-only gathering of forward-thinking people with ideas worth sharing. From musicians and entrepreneurs to nonprofit leaders and cultural creators, guests come together to celebrate accomplishments, exchange aspirations, and discover synergy with one another. CONCENERGY WORLDWIDE is a platform where culture, business, and community intersect — a space for real connections and lasting collaborations.
Gibbs holds a Master’s Degree in Public Affairs & Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Bachelor of Science in Community & Public Health Education from East Carolina University. Over the years he acquired additional certifications and licenses in his areas of interest. His academic foundation in public health and research science informs his lifelong commitment to people-centered storytelling, cultural advocacy, and global connection. These studies laid the groundwork for a career that bridges business and humanity—now reimagined through the lens of cultural exploration.
